Imagine having a live event artist at your next party, creating beautiful paintings of your guests and their wonderful outfits, that they can take home as a special keepsake of the evening. Perfect for product launches, company parties, corporate hosted events, sponsored activations as well as private events such as weddings, birthdays, hen's parties and more. Live guest illustrations are offered by the hour. This is so you can pick a perfect time block that suits your number of guests.

 

How it works

Your guests can come up to me at any time during your event to have their photo taken. Their illustrations will be created from these photos using Copic markers and premium quality paper. Each illustration will be presented in a cellophane sleeve for protection to take home.

 

How many portraits can I create per hour?

It usually takes me around 8-10 minutes to paint one guest, but that can vary a bit depending on what they're wearing. If there are two guests, it might take me between 12-15 minutes to complete the portrait, again depending on the complexity of their outfits. However, my packages are based on the number of guests you'd like painted, so whether I finish painting them on-site or later, the selected number of guests will always receive their paintings. You can choose between 3-6 hours of illustration time., so you can choose the number of hours that suits.

As a general guide

3 hours - 24 - 30 portraits (approximately 48-60 guests)

4 hours - 32 - 40 portraits (approximately 64 - 80 guests)

5 hours - 40 - 50 portraits (approximately 80-100 guests)

6 hours - 48 - 60 portraits (approximately 96 - 120 guests)

It's always good to remember that there will likely be guests who would prefer to observe rather than take part.

To ensure your guests can continue to enjoy your day, I work from photographs and have guests collect their illustrations at the end of the event. I’ll usually draw guests from the waist up and a maximum of 2 people per portrait, but I can be flexible if you let me know in advance.

For large scale events, there may not be enough time to create portraits for your guests. I want to ensure everyone has a chance to have their portrait captured, so any incomplete guest illustrations will come back with me to the studio to finish, along with your complimentary newlywed portrait. You can expect them to be mailed to you within 14 business days after the event.
