Hi, I'm Natalie, the artist behind Canvas by Design.

Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. After moving from the United Kingdom to Perth as a child, I spent every spare moment drawing and painting, and I always knew creativity would play a big role in my future.

Although I began studying design at university, I realised my passion was creating art by hand. After travelling the world and gaining inspiration from the people, places, and moments I experienced, I finally took the leap to become a full-time artist, a decision I've never looked back on.

Today, I specialise in live wedding paintings, live guest illustrations, and custom commissions, creating meaningful artwork that captures life's most treasured moments. Whether I'm painting your first dance, illustrating your guests, or creating a personalised portrait, every piece is crafted with care, emotion, and attention to detail.
